This detector is a great alternative to a MOTION DETECTOR and commonly used in rooms with a lot of glass or large windows that do not open. This device will either mount on a ceiling or wall of a room and If the glass is broken this detector will trip your system. If you want to protect the window from being opened but not broken you will need a WINDOW CONTACT.
